With the support of Fed/Dev funds, and in direct collaboration with senior surgeons and staff at Queens University, OAISYS supported the first clinical project on the creation of an Evidenced Based Tool for Knee Surgery Triage. The collected data includes disability evaluations and a standardized radiographic grading for knee OA.  The grading, developed by Dr. Cooke, focuses on a single compartment of the knee – (UCOAG) and has been shown to be linked to mechanical changes such as knee alignment. The results of this project have been presented at the OARSI World Congress April 18th 2013.
